Launch your learning management system with the help of an Australian eLearning expert with over 26 years experience.
Creating online training can be a lot of work. Apart from producing the actual training content, you need to choose the right platform, load your lessons, design the pages and about a dozen other things to ensure that you get it right the first time.
Working with DOLLARS makes sense. We’ve been creating websites for decades and we have extensive experience producing our own courses. This combination means we’re the perfect fit to help you plan, produce, publish and promote your eLearning platform.
With over 800 learning management system (LMS) platforms available, how do you choose the right one?
We’ve used a bunch of solutions over 16 years and these days our choice is LearnDash. Its flexibility makes it a great eLearning platform for government departments, educational institutions, non-profits and businesses.
LearnDash is a complex learning management system and can be extended further with third-party plugins.
Content is the heart of your training and LearnDash has loads of features to help you deliver better courses. You might just need text and/or video, however you have the flexibility to include other content types such as a photo gallery, interactive map, a table of data or a downloadable PDF. If you can publish it on a web page, you can probably include it within your training.
Increase course completions with the help of LearnDash email notifications. You can specify rules to send students emails that are triggered by various events including starting or completing a course. You can also connect the platform to most popular email service providers to assist with additional marketing.
Check how well your training is being absorbed and reinforce learning with LearnDash quizzes. This is an optional, but popular feature that can be placed at the end of courses or lessons. The multiple choice option is popular but there are 8 question types including open answers and fill in the blanks.
For those selling courses there are several ways to accept payments and restrict access to paid students. Options include simple one-time purchases, subscriptions, bundles and bulk access.
Recognise course completions with a custom-designed certificate that students can share via social media. Certificates can be awarded to everyone who completes a course or can be conditional on achieving a specified quiz score.
Although your training might tell the complete story, most course creators provide some level of student support. With LearnDash you can do this within each lesson with comments that appear beneath every lesson. Or just do it via email. Or create a forum for each course that allows your students to engage with each other. We will demonstrate these options to help you reach the best solution.
Solutions are usually tailor-made, but the following pricing will give you a solid starting point.
