FAQs

Is this only available for WordPress-powered websites?

Yes. By specialising in a single technology stack, we're able to benefit in experience and provide these solutions at affordable prices.

What is the anti-hack guarantee?

While nobody can guarantee that a website will not get hacked, we do our very best to prevent this from happening through a combination of software, proactive updates and decades of experience. If the worst does happen, we guarantee to get your website back up and running, even if that means rebuilding the site from scratch! This feature alone is worth the investment of a care plan. We don't take this lightly; there have been thousands of businesses over the years who have gone out of business after a hack, as they found it was too difficult to rebuild their website.

Is there a contract?

You need to agree to some terms and conditions, but there is no contract in the sense of a minimum commitment. We're confident of our work and experience has proven that customers stay with us for many years. However you are not locked in and you can cancel at any time. Just keep in mind that some of the software we use is licensed to us and should you decide to move your website, you would need to obtain your own licenses, at your expense.

Do I have to host the website with you?

Yes. Some of the services we use to power and protect your website are unique to our platform. Your website lives in one of the best data centres in Australia that provides excellent security and performance.

Do you manage the domain name?

We would prefer to, so you have a single point of contact for all your website needs and it makes management easier. We'll even throw in the renewal cost if you're using a standard domain extension like .com.au, .au or .com. However, should you wish to use a different domain provider at your own cost, that's okay.

Is email included?

Yes. In order to look professional, businesses should use their own domain name for email. For example [email protected] instead of a free service like Gmail. However, if you have a current email provider that you'd prefer to stick with, then that's fine too.

My current website is built on a free platform like Wix, Weebly or Squarespace. Can you move it your platform?

Yes, in most cases. We will rebuild the site in WordPress as part of the care plan.

I have an existing WordPress website. Can I add one of your care plans?

Yes. We will inspect it, move it to our platform, perform any necessary improvements and take care of it.

What if I need more support time?

This isn't usually an issue because we will initially recommend the most appropriate care plan that matches your business type and size. However additional support time is available at $120 per hour +GST.

Is there a discount for multiple websites?

Usually, however we would need to have a discussion to confirm. Our typical offer is your first site would need to be on the Expressway package and then each subsequent site would be half price.

Can I resell your packages?

No. In order to provide a fast, efficient and affordable service, we have a no middleman policy. However if you'd like to recommend clients to us, we might be open to an affiliate arrangement. Get in touch to discuss.
