Yes. LearnDash is a plugin for WordPress, the world’s most popular website content management system. You can update any of the content for your information pages and your learning content. We’ll setup your initial course(s) but you can add additional courses and quizzes later yourself. That said, many of our clients prefer us to take care of updates, so we offer that service too.
Can you? Yes! Should you? Well, although we obviously love using and developing LearnDash sites, it can be a nightmare to get started if you don’t have the experience. There is a lot of plumbing to connect and you’ll save weeks if not months of time trying to work out this stuff yourself. Do what you do best, outsource the rest and your training will be online in weeks instead of months.
Our HIGHWAY management packages feature 4 services including hosting, so we would normally take care of this for you. LearnDash, along with other plugins we use, soaks up a lot of resources, so it doesn’t work on low-end hosting platforms. We normally host using a high-end provider at an Australian-based data centre (Sydney). However if your audience is international, we will put your site on a server located in one of 20 data centres located throughout Europe and North America. In addition, we include a content development network, high-end caching and enterprise-level security which results in superior service and peace of mind.
